Furyborn is a fantasy novel set in another world. It tells the story of two Queens seperated by over 1,000 years. One the Sun Queen,saviour and protector and the other the Blood Queen, the Lady of Death.
The book begins in the chambers of Queen Rielle who has just given birth to her first child, a daughter. The author then takes the reader on a whirlwind of a ride and this is before the first chapter.
The writing is fast paced and drew me in from the first sentence. The idea behind the story of two queens, one good and one evil has been done before but Furyborn seems like a fresh new take on it.
I love books with magic, angels, queens and prophecies and as such cannot wait to sink my teeth into the rest of Furyborn amd find out what becomes of the young Queen Rielle and the young girl 1,000 uears in the future Eliana and how they are tied together. I have my suspicions but I'm guessing there is a huge twist coming my way.
