This story was amazing! I devoured it in no time, which makes me have to wait that much longer for the next one! The weaving of the two time periods was well done and the character creation and world building was fantastic. The story line of each character was nicely paced. When I got to the end of the chapter, I didn't want to stop reading about her, but the next bit immediately sucked me in. The intricacies of the connections/ties between past and present were interesting. Perhaps a little complicated, but overall, I loved it. The magic system was really creative as well.
