In this epic fantasy, there are two women separated by centuries. First there is Lady Rielle, who is able to control all of the elements. We see her as both a fierce monster and innocent women within only a few pages. The change in her character was gripping. The other character is Eliana, who is hiding a secret ability. She is a brutal bounty hunter is a world that seems very different from the one that Lady Rielle inhabits. There are assassins looming and girls mysteriously going missing. Looming in the background of both stories is a prophecy about two queens: one of blood and one of light. I am on the edge of my seat wondering how these two women are connected. I am excited to see where the rest of the story will go!
