Furyborn was a slow burn fantasy novel with lots of fantastic world building. The magical elements of this world were very well thought out.
Several fierce females who are tested to the limit; physically, mentally and emotionally.
Plenty of forbidden romance along with a brooding, mysterious stranger. Interest officially piqued!

The first 75% of the book had me like: What the heck is going on? I must keep reading! Wait, I think I might know. Perhaps. Possibly?
The final 25% felt more like: Wait, what? OMG, this is getting soooooo good! Cannot turn pages fast enough!!!!
I really enjoyed this book. It was a bit of a slow start but really well done. For most of it, I did not tear through it at blinding speed. I took my time with it to fully connect with each of the main characters. The story gained a lot of momentum towards the end and I couldn't read fast enough to see what happened! Highly recommend!
