The small first look doesn't really have time to set up much character development but it definitely introduces a world of magic and violence that I am incredibly intrigued by. Telling the story in two timelines a thousand years apart might be tricky if not handled correctly, but what I saw gives me the impression that Legrand might be able to pull it off.
