Frizzy is an enjoyable, well written, informative, entertaining, and wonderfully illustrated graphic novel about being yourself and loving as well as embracing who you are. The artwork in this book was gorgeous with the vibrant colors and unique designs and I really loved the character of Marlene. The dynamic between Ruby and Marlene was especially enjoyable & I feel like both Marlene and the readers learn a lot from her character as well as relate to her, Marlene, and some of the other characters like Camilla & Marlene’s mom. If you are looking for a new release to pick up and you love graphic novels, then I definitely suggest Frizzy. The author did a wonderful job with this text and I could Not be happier with it. I hope that more graphic novels are released by this author and illustrator duo because they are fantastic together!!!!
