I love everything about this! From the cover to the concept to the meaning behind it. This is a middle grade book that every girl should read. I remember being in middle school and waking up early to straighten my hair because that's what all the other girls were doing. It took me almost frying my hair to go on a journey for healthier hair that also had me embracing my waves. It makes me happy to see books like these, that inspire girls to embrace their hair types
