I flew through this book. It had such good characters, and the plot was original and eye-opening. It gives a personal outlook into race, first loves, grief, and finding where you belong. This story was riveting and also endearing, and David Yoon tied both of those things together terrifically in this young adult romance novel.
I would recommend this book to absolutely any teen, specifically those who are wondering about relationships, and also those who want to have their eyes opened to what they've been missing in terms or racism and how to treat everyone as equals. I learned a thing or two from this book, too!
