Frankly in Love is one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and it is OUT TODAY!
Frank Li is a Korean-American high school senior in Southern California. He falls in love with a girl in his calculus class and everything seems right... except for one major thing: she’s white. Frank knows his parents do not want him dating a white girl, so he thinks of a master plan to keep the relationship a secret. But when Frank’s faking starts to feel real, life turns upside down.

Frankly in Love dives into some tough current topics from a mature young adult perspective. Frank works through thoughts and experiences about people from all different colors of the spectrum. And the author demonstrates how similar we all are in our differences.
Romance is just one ingredient in the full recipe that makes up this book. It dives into the different layers of families, traditional cultures in America, and the short time period we have in this life.
Let’s not waste our time worrying about what makes us different from everyone around us. Let’s focus on being kind and loving to the people we have in our life and appreciate the journey we’re on together.
I started and finished this book in a two-day time period. It’s easy to read, but has a lot of deep thoughts behind it.
