If Shakespeare were writing YA this would be it!

Whether it was the subject matter, the characters' personalities or Mr. Yoon's writing style, I am not sure. However, I spent most of this book thinking that Shakespeare would have loved the story! Being a teenage is tough. Being a nerdy teenager is tougher. Being the child of immigrants is even tougher. And this is all before you introduce teen emotions. "She's a book I just started reading, and I need to know where the story goes." That is how Frank defines his first love. Frank is in love with a girl his parents won't accept so fake dates a friend they will accept. Hilarity and hi jinx ensue. To balance this all out is the seriousness of high school and college prep, racism, and dealing with parents who cling to an old world order but in a new world. I really enjoyed this quirky easy read.
