I really wanted to love this book, but it just didn't happen for me. I liked parts of this book, but I think some parts were just unnecessary. I think there is enough substance with what is going on in Frank's life without adding in the Brit/Frank/Joy/Wu love square. I liked Frank and Brit as a couple, but I also liked Frank and Joy as a couple. I feel like I couldn't fully enjoy Frank and Joy as a couple though because they went behind Brit's back. I called Q's crush from a mile away. I think one of my favorite sub plots was Hanna though. I really would have loved to see that more flushed out, or a spin off talking about Hanna and how she fell in love with Miles and chose him. I do think the secondary plot with Frank's family and learning more about your background and your family was well done. I just couldn't fully get into this book, because of what Joy and Frank did to Brit. I mean you can guess it's coming, but I still wasn't really a fan.
