Reading it felt so smooth, yet there's just so much in it. Yes, it's mainly about being a Korean-American in the US who's also a teenager, but I really relate with what Frank Li is going through. There's so much information & details in Frank's story especially the characters appearing in it. From the quirky-ness to the heart-wrenching part of the book, I just love how Yoon was able to humanize Frank's life story. It's not cliche & there's not a single plot twist, yet it was very wholesome.
Yoon's way of writing is direct & easy to understand. He knows we don't need high vocabs just to get the idea of whatever it is that's going on. How he handles the characters' interaction with each other makes me feel at home.
