What an amazing debut! David Yoon managed to touch my heart in ways I never expected. I love love love this book and I'm sure plenty of readers will fall in love with this too. It's just SO GOOD!!!
This book had everything I look for in a good YA contemporary romance. It's sweet, funny, moving, and has a lot of heart. The characters are wonderful and so loveable. The plot is interesting and thought-provoking. David Yoon created such a beautiful and riveting story and I just can't get over how perfect this book is.
Frank is such a relatable and interesting character. I felt his struggles and the pressure he feels to please his parents. David Yoon definitely explores interracial dating, family drama, racism, loss, self-discovery, and so many more. So while this book is fun and adorable in many ways, it's also really moving and overall a delightful story. Definitely a must-read YA contemporary.
