Ever since I first turned to the first page of Frankly In Love I was hooked. I loved the unique narrating style, the character of Frank Li, and the intriguing but realistic way that the world around Frank is portrayed. I really like how it explores the culture and atmosphere of Frank's family as Korean-Americans. I also really liked the character of Brit, the girl that Frank first falls in love with. I kind of wish we got to see a bit more of her later on in the book though.
In general, I felt myself rushing through this book in a day because I loved reading it so much. I really felt like I couldn't just put it down! I really think that this book is a wonderful, fast-paced contemporary romance that anyone will enjoy. I hope to see more of David Yoon in writing in the future!
