This book was on my shelf for months after getting it for my birthday. I'd seen all the marketing for it and thought it must be good but I never quite got round to starting it -until now.
406 pages later and I loved it! Everything from the cover to the writing inside astounded me, not to mention the humour that was put in there. What I found that set the book apart from others is how as a reader, I was introduced to different cultures and learned about the struggles that others may face.
While it did take me a while to get properly stuck in to the book, once I did, I was gone! I was up all night reading about what Frank Li was up to (it was worth the lost sleep!)
As a first young adult book from David Yoon, I think he did a fantastic job, keeping us all hooked on what was to happen next.
