I love this book with diverse characters; especially a leading Asian male character. Frank Li (7 characters) is a delight. He feels authentic and the language used in the book is spot-on realistic. I love when an author can write a teen and produce a character that feels natural. Shouldn't parents always been written as "Mom-n-Dad"? There are so many instances in which Yoon seamlessly writes in every day language that no other author can do without over-explaining or making it forced. I love Frank Li and his narrative on his life and his ability to describe how it feels to be split between two influential cultures.
