I honestly wasn’t expecting too much from this novel. Not because it didn’t sound interesting, but because very few people had read it, and those that did felt it was okay. So going into I had low expectations, which were all quickly overwhelmed with how beautiful this story was. I loved the way the author wrote about an event that had already happened (or so I thought) and yet made it seem as if there were two timelines being described.
There were several twists along the way that kept me guessing and reading faster and faster until I ran out of pages. This is a book I wish would have continued on. Even though the story had ended I would love to explore more of the kingdoms and what happened after the last Queen was saved. This is absolutely a book you should read!
