I really enjoyed this one!
The characters were all great, especially Kera, who is funny and witty, but also selfish and rude. This really adds a lot to the story. I like how a lot of the characters aren't good or bad, rather, in the middle of the spectrum.
The plot is full of twists and turns that I definitely did not see coming. The author blends all sorts of genres to come up with a unique and intriguing story. I enjoy the aspects of mystery, science fiction, action, fantasy, etc.
The author's style is descriptive and makes for a a page-turning read. She did a great job with the world building. The history behind the society was fascinating.
All in all, I recommend this to any YA fan! Pick it up and give it a try, you won't regret it!
