I found Four Dead Queens to be intriguing and fast-paced! Readers are thrown into action from the very first page as Keralie follows a messenger, steals what he's carrying, and ends up in the middle of a murder case involving the four queens of Quadara. She works together with Varin, the messenger, to find out the truth and ends up with more than she bargained for.
I thought it was a really interesting choice to have the queens' POVs seeing as we know from the title that they're dead. It was a fun way to learn more about the queens and how they died.
Overall, I thought Four Dead Queens was a great read. Keralie was an amazing character, ambitious yet sweet in her own way. The plot has many twists and turns and never quite stopped moving so it was never boring.
