I have nothing but great things to say for this book! A 5 star read for me, and I am still thinking about the storyline weeks after finishing! I loved the different point of views utilized, and felt it really added something extra to the story. The kingdoms were interesting and made me want to visit, all while giving me part Divergent (factions) and part Hunger Games (district) vibes but not is such a dystopian manner. I loved the mystery of the whodunnit mixed with fantasy and a touch of scifi, it was so unique!! I was really impressed with the detail that was provided with the background of the Queens and how their ruling system came to be. I would love to see some novellas for each queen and their ancestry.
