Enjoyable YA fantasy
I go through phases of wanting to read fantasy novels and then I read so many, I have to take a long break from them. I am glad that I saved this one until I was feeling ready to get back into it. This novel is fantasy but it is also a bit sci-fi and a murder mystery. I really enjoyed having the different genres blended into the story and they all worked really well together.
Four Dead Queens is a stand-alone novel where the main character, Keralie has to solve the mystery of who murdered the 4 queens so she can save her neck since she is the main suspect.
The book was filled with twists and turns and I did not guess them all. The book kept me intrigued and I finished it in a couple of days.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy and to anyone who enjoyed different book genres being put together seamlessly.
This was the first book I read by this author but it will not be my last.
