I really enjoyed this first look at the first five chapters, and wish it had been longer! Astrid Scholte paints a good introduction to the world by teasing the world-building without resorting to too much info dumping. I also like the character of Keralie, even though her behavior in the first chapter makes me think she will be a morally grey character. The dialogue is also fantastic. The queens' chapters set up a lot of intrigue, and I'm looking forward to see where how all these story threads will play out.
