To watch Keralie in action as she first skinned her knee and stole from her target was intriguing. I'm curious to see how Keralie and Varin will do together because of the circumstances when they first met. I'm not even sure what to think of the queens but the quick introduction of the first queen being killed in her garden with her throat slit was surprising. I'm anticipating the release of this book in February of 2019 because the little I did read has me caring about the characters and the direction the story will lead. I'm expecting deception and betrayals to the fullest degree. The cover of Four Dead Queens is gorgeous with the crowns lying on top of each other under a spotlight. I love the different detail to each crown giving each queen her own identity.
