Expressively written action packed narrative with a unique plot about a divided kingdom which becomes disrupted with the murder of all four of the ruling queens. I love the main protagonist Keralie, the feisty and astute dipper, who holds her own among her lawless companions. Varin and Kerlie appear to be complete opposites which should make for an enjoyable and charming romance. I really enjoy the idea of a murder mystery woven into a fantasy based genre and look forward to reading more of this novel.
