I want to just quickly state: I NEVER WANTED THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE.
But it's alright, as a reviewer, I will deal with books I do not want and will not enjoy but will have to still review. ANYWAY, back to the review.
Although I didn't want this in the first place, I read. Just like I usually do with books that I refuse to just toss aside and ignore for the rest of my life. I ended up DNF it like 50% through. Simply because it was just bothersome. The plot wasn't interesting, the character buildup sucked, and the imagery was horrible. Or maybe this could just be because it's not originally my style anyway.
I enjoy certain fantasies and THIS was just one of them I don't like. But as slightly mentioned before, it's not worth reading, but it IS just simply engaging. I will give props for keeping me drawn, but eventually as mentioned in a previous review, I just couldn't put it down. Overall, it sucked. Not worth a read, or maybe it is based on your reading preferences.
