Ashley Hohenstein's first book in the Conduit Chronicles "Found" took the cake for most intense, yet complex Fantasy novel I've read in quite some time. This love triangle masterpiece kept me on the edge of my toes, and biting my nails, even though I tried not too after every chapter.
Though love seemed to be the main premise of the storyline, the threat of other-worldly war lurked around the corner, where monsters and characters from every realm fought one another to create the perfect paranormal, yet suspenseful urban fantasy setting.
Poor Ophelia had no idea what she was getting herself into after finding herself in the middle of a love triangle like no other, where one was practically a stranger and the other a friend she held near and dear to her heart. As she begins to grow in her abilities and trust her strengths, we see her develop into the warrior she was destined to be, standing up for those around her as 'the savior of her kind.'
