Found is an introduction to a world where Conduits, semi-immortal magical beings, are fighting a war for their lives. I truly enjoyed the introduction to various characters, both mortal and Conduit. The author does a great job of sharing each characters personality and gifts. We also get a great explanation of the Conduit's world and history, without overwhelming with too much information.
On occasion, the writing style over explains character's thoughts, when their dialogue or behavior already makes it obvious. It can make some portions of the book hard to read through, but overall this is an easy read. I think I would not normally have picked up this book based on the description, but I'm glad that I did. I am looking forward to enjoying the rest of the books in The Conduit Chronicles series. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys character-driven fantasy.
