This novel promises intrigue, adventure and secrecy galore. A man is being trailed by multiple assassins, all with an unknown agenda. The woman is an empath, although she doesn’t know it or realize her gifts are preternatural in origin. While Elias dodging mysterious creatures bent on killing him, Ophelia is dealing with the psychic bombardment of other people’s emotions. It’s a strain on her nerves but it makes her a great psychologist.

Elias is on the trail of special people, unique individuals who must be saved from the forces bent on annihilating them. Ophelia just wants to live a life wherein strangers aren’t constantly unloading their nasty secrets on her when she doesn’t want to hear them.
