The cover is intriguing and mysterious. After reading the excerpt, however, I wasn’t quite impressed with the storyline. Told from two perspectives and opposite genders (male and female,) it just threw me a little off kilter. To me, it would have been more palatable if just told from either a female or male point of view. It’s not that I don’t care for this genre, it’s probably the delivery and concept that I didn’t appreciate.
