After reading the First Look, I felt like the novel was moving too slowly. While this book definitely has an interesting premise and an intriguing storyline, I’m not inclined to keep reading. It may be that “Forty Words for Love” is geared towards young adults (and admittedly I’m outside of the target audience), but something about it just didn’t work for me. It’s such a shame because this novel really does seem to have a solid plot line and a beautiful, eye-catching cover.
