Passing on this one
I’m not sure that I’m the correct audience for this memoir. Fist of all, the excerpt focusing on a mother’s grief of her child’s autism was difficult for me to read as someone who is neurodivergent. Secondly, the writing itself didn’t pull me in. I’m not really sure where this memoir is going, maybe it’s fine and it won’t be problematic and centering the mother and not the child, but I’m not interested enough to read on to find out.
