This is the first book that I've read that touches upon the topic of autism. It was very thought provoking as I don't know how I would feel if any of my children were born with special needs -- especially autism. The excerpt was a very quick read as I managed to speed through the pages in no time. The author has done an excellent job of relaying her thoughts and feelings in writing.
