Who doesn't follow at least one "influencer" these days?

It's interesting that we've started to see these influencers show up in fiction, sometimes as just the stylish individual everyone looks up to, but other times as someone trying to prove him or herself worthy or as the victim of ever-present scrutiny. I wonder if authors and readers alike are romanticizing the new role or if they are trying to get their arms around it by writing what they think it's like.

If you watched and enjoyed Eagle Eye, you'll enjoy this novel about an influencer trying to escape the prying eyes that watch her every minute of the day. It has shades of The Farm, but at least these women got to choose their circumstances!
