I absolutely loved Followers by Megan Angelo. The two main characters, Orla of our time and Marlow of the future, were well developed, interesting, and relatable to me. I was fully invested in each of their stories. The book goes back and forth between each of their lives causing the reader to become more and more curious about the catastrophic event the author alludes to that we know is coming in Orla's future and happened in Marlow's past.
The book is very relevant in our current society especially when it comes to technology addiction and social media. The book also deals with the themes loneliness, friendship, and motherhood. The writing style is very easy to follow and keeps the reader wanting more.
