Followers introduces us to three women, Orla, Floss and Marlow, who are all chasing or living the current "American dream" of being internet-famous and amassing the highest number of social media followers. What could go wrong on the path to success, and is success really what it's thought to be?

Marlow's perspective in Followers is in a technological "post-apocalyptic" world while Orla and Floss mainly give us insight to the current world that lead up to the devastating internet disaster tagged as "The Spill".

This book was phenomenal and "The Spill" is so realistic it was a little frightening. It is an eye opener to how much information is willingly shared by everyone on social media these days and the lengths people go to in order to be "recognized".
The writing was fun and the story moved along at a great pace. I found that it slowed just a bit at the end where Marlow was concerned, but overall it kept my attention the whole time. The wit and quirky remarks had me laughing the entire book. Floss was really something else! I would absolutely recommend this book to others and I think it will be a great pick once it is released.

Thank you to the publishers and BookishFirst for an ARC of this book.
