The book was a good read. This book primarily centers around three characters who are describing their past in the city (New York) and then connecting it to the present, which is a modern day city structured around being famous as well as follower count. It did take me a little to understand what time period was being written about and I quickly realized that the chapters tell you what time frame they are in. I liked this clear, concise way that the author chose to inform the readers instead of leaving them guessing as some point of view books choose to do.
I thought the writing style was great. The details provided made me feel as though I knew many of the characters and their motivations very well. The unique ending also left me satisfied as I was not quite expecting the outcome. Overall, I would recommend this book to a friend.
