I am so glad I'm seeing more stories like these. I love online drama, even if I don't participate in it, but it intrigues me nonetheless. I love the slow-burn this book had, with the original timeline from the start or their social media careers, all the way to thirty-five years later, a long stretch for anything. Marlow Clipp's "disappearance," one who lived life on camera 98% of the time, shows how invested people become in stranger's lives - because that's what they really are, no matter how much you think you know influencers, their life outside is not always 100% as it appears to be on the camera and what's presented to the world - and how much of a toll a lifestyle like that can take on a person.
