Creepy, terrifying and a little too real

When I first read the first look for this book, I knew that it would be a book that terrified me in a way that no horror or thriller could terrify me. This book, in all of its realistic prose, portrays a future that is entirely possible, and honestly very probable.

The chapters set in the "past" of the story, in all honesty, were the most engaging for me, and I devoured them whole. However, the chapters set in the present - what would be our possible future - were not as engaging. The reader was left struggling to figure out what certain things meant, and it wasn't always clear (in my opinion) why certain scenes were necessary to even be included in the novel.

While I didn't enjoy the novel 100%, I do think it is something people should read, to be wary of what might come.
