Wow! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but I know I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did! Part dystopian, part social commentary, part mystery, part amazing story about connection and what we’ll do for it. Without giving too much away, Followers alternates between two storylines... one in the future, and one going towards that future. Along the way we learn about our main characters and the role social media and Instagram and influencer fame played in their lives and those around them. We’ll learn about “the spill” the event that changed everything in regards to how we interact with our screens.
It will make you think. It will make you want to put your phone down. It will make you question, and best of all, it will keep you reading until you finish! Five stars for me!
