She meets Floss as a result of this job, and together, they make Floss famous, allowing both of them to gain some fortune. However, the book shines a very bright light on how social media can create fame, but it can also destroy people. It can separate people and bring them together. There is power in social media, but sometimes power isn't a great thing to hold on to.
