This book has such wonderful writing. It is fluid and has an interesting tone. It grabbed my attention from the start and held it through the bit available. It is a strange meet story but the relationship build is cute. I enjoy romantics comedies and dramas so this worked for me. The one is cute but not overwhelmingly sweet. I like the cover. It has the same illustration style as a lot of ya and adult romances these days but even though there are about a thousand that have the same style, I can’t get enough. I wonder if it is because it looks like anime. I’m not sure why the style is so popular but whatever the reason I like the style. The characters are well developed and I was interested in what came next for everyone. This is the type of book I enjoy handing to teens. It is cute but it touches on trauma without being too heavy handed so it has potential to be therapeutic.
