I didn't like the cover, it look more for a middle school novel or graphic novel, not for a YA book. The cover isn't what drew me to in though, it's the premise of a interesting storyline I hardly see. Ava missed her grandma's blessing because of a horrid storm follow with a fender bender. Then the ghost of her grandma comes back to tell Ava that she did got her blessing that night, but it hit the boy that she crash into. With the help of her ghost grandma, her sisters, and a Saint of teeth, Ava is going to get her blessing back.

It took forever for the love interest to pop up. There were hardly any time for the chemistry to form between Rion and Ava, and Achilles feels like he was just thrown there for filler. As a latina myself, I understand that spanglish is a common thing in a household and always happy to see some representation, yet the spanish seem random and out of place in some sentences. Mixing can be hard and confusing to read if it doesn't make any sense.

Though, it was a cute book. It made me laugh and the magic kept me reading.
