Summary: Eighteen-year-old Daunis Fontaine has never quite fit in, both in her hometown and on the nearby Ojibwe reservation. My thoughts: wow Iâm kicking myself for having this on my shelf for so long, it was an incredible read! It was such a beautiful story it made me emotional. It was a pretty gritty read, reminded me almost of breaking bad! But wow what a beautiful story of community and family and love. The writing style was incredible, I was skeptical of the almost 500 pages but it was worth every minute of it. 10/10 recommend, run and grab it if you havenât read it yet!
