I just finished listening to this one on audiobook and absolutely adored it. I couldn't wait to be in my car again so that I could continue to listen to the book. I needed to know what happens next! The characters in this novel are so well written and the plot takes many unexpected twists. The main character, Daunis Fontaine, is a recently graduated high school student who has sort of been living this in-between life her whole childhood - caught between her parent's cultures, caught between her hockey world and romance world, caught between her friends. As the summer wears on, Daunis finds all of her worlds that she has managed to keep separate her whole life, colliding and after witnessing a murder, she has to figure out why so many people are dying around her. I was happy with the ending of this book as well which hardly ever happens for me, especially in the thriller/mystery categories.
