Wow! I have no words after completing my this book. It was so amazing. I was so intrigued by the plot and the characters were amazing.
First of all, I loved the protagonist. She had a lot of flaws but was ultimately very likeable and relatable. I’m so sad this book is over, because I can no longer learn anything about her and experience her story.
I also found the portrayal of modern-day indigenous people amazing. This representation is scarce in mainstream media, so I loved learning about it and educating myself on the Ojibwe tribe.
The mystery was also one of the most captivating I’ve read in awhile. I desperately wanted to know what was going to happen until the end. It was very well written and paced. I really liked how the mystery was well integrated into the rest of the plot. Nothing felt out of place and everything flowed together wonderfully.
