I had my doubts because YA isn't a genre I normally seek out. But the comparison to Tommy Orange (There, There is one of my absolute favs) drew me in, and boy am I glad it did. This sounds like it will be suspenseful and thrilling, and also an important #ownvoices read, and also well written and just good all around.
