With so much of western media circulating around cishet white characters, a book about a strong female Native American teen is a refreshing change. This book has an absolutely stunning cover and seems to deal with the intricacies of culture and coming of age as a POC in a predominantly white country beautifully, and seems like it will really be a game changer.
