At first glance, this book is instantly intriguing. The ambiguity alluding to such events as a “family tragedy” or shocking murder draws me in. I already can’t wait to discoverer what could possibly happen to this protagonist. In addition, I am always looking to diversify my reading, so the OwnVoices aspect is a plus!
