I appreciate the down-to-earth writing of most YA authors, but sometimes I feel like they can be a little too simplistic! I'd recommend this story in a heartbeat to someone who was actually in the target demographic. I love the character already, but i think the style of the book is just not for me! The setting is gorgeous and unique, and I hope to see more from this author in the future!
