I think I need to start with the cover. It's absolutely stunning. The two faces show the dichotomy Daunis is struggling with, belonging to two worlds, and both being equal parts of her.

The excerpt shared for the first impression is bold and captivating, grabbing my attention from the very first page. By the first chapter you have a very good feel for Daunis and what's going on in her world. I didn't want it to end.

I can relate to how Daunis is torn between her identities and how she feels about family. Angeline Boulley's debut is not to be missed and I can't wait to read more!
